The units are so tough, so well made, the construction of the unit will last for years. To add to the longevity of the unit, a reinforced structural steel base could be used. Our blower motor bases are made so that we can offer a variety of different motors for your needs. This will enable you to mount either the “Roots” Dresser Series URAI Blower Units or the “Sutorbilt” California Legend Blower Units. Roots Universal RAI
Universal RAI blowers are heavy duty rotary blowers designed and constructed of a cast
iron casing, carburized and ground alloy steel spur timing gears and secured to steel
shafts with a taper mounting and locknut, and cast iron involute impellers. Oversized
anti-friction bearings are used, with a cylindrical roller bearing at drive shaft to
withstand V-Belt pull. The URAI features thrust control, with splash oil lube on the gear
end and grease lube on the drive end.
Sutorbilt California Legend
The Sutorbilt rotary positive displacement blower has two figure eight impeller rotating
in opposite directions. As the impeller lobes pass the blower inlet, they trap a quantity
of air equal to exactly 25% of the displacement of the blower. This entrapment occurs four
times per revolution, moving the entrained air around the case to the blower outlet.
Timing gears position the impellers in relation to each other.
To control the speed of the blower a set of sheaves is supplied with each blower motor unit. The size sheave selected shall match the rpm’s needed by the blower to achieve it’s rated capacity.
The TEII fiberglass multipurpose all weather enclosure is tough, light weight, non-conductive, corrosion resistant, maintenance free and easy to install. The enclosure is designed to enhance the installation of the blower motor unit in the most economical, accessible manner. The TEII unit protects your equipment with strong construction and lockable hoods. Our standard enclosure sizes will enable the various models of blower and motors to be installed meeting almost every installation application. Prefabricated Steel Blower Motor Bases
The TEII Series II prefabricated steel structural blower motor base is multipurpose,
tough, light weight, painted for corrosion resistant, maintenance free and easy to
install. The blower motor base is designed to enhance the installation of the blower motor
unit in them most economical, accessible manner. Accessory equipment items such as belt
guards for the “V” Belt drive units are available. Our standard structural steel
base sizes will enable the various models of blower and motors to be installed meeting
almost every installation application. For special applications call our design department

All blowers are equipped with a cartridge type filter silencer. It features removable weatherhood and integral silencing section for noise attenuation.
