Pressure Relief Valve
A pressure relief valve’s first purpose is to act as a safety valve to protect the positive displacement air blower, working in conjunction with the air manifold. When the air manifold pressure exceeds the pre-set pressure of the valve, the valve will open and vent the excess air pressure. The TEII pressure relief valve is a spring loaded type that is available in six sizes, 1" diameter pipe size to 4" diameter pipe size. These valves are pre-set for the pressure of 5.0 psi. Adjustments can be made easily to increase the pressure. The pressure range of these valves if from 0 to 10 psi.
