Goulds Pump 3886

Impeller: Cast iron, semi open, non-clog with pump out vanes for mechanical seal protection. Balanced for smooth operation. Silicon bronze impeller available as an option.
Casing: Cast iron volute type for maximum efficiency. 2in. NPT discharge, adaptable for A10-20 slide rail systems.
Mechanical Seal: SILICON CARBIDE VS. SILICON CARBIDE sealing faces, stainless steel metal parts, BUNA-N elastomers.
Shaft: Corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Threaded design. Locknut on three phase models to guard against component damage on accidental reverse rotation.
Motor: Fully submerged in high grade turbine oil for lubrication and efficient heat transfer.
Designed for Continuous Operation: Pump ratings are within the motor manufacturer’s recommended working limits, can be operated continuously without damage.
Bearings: Upper and lower heavy duty ball bearings construction.
Power Cable: Severe duty rated, oil and water resistant. Epoxy seal on motor and provides secondary moisture barrier in case of outer jacket damage and to prevent oil wicking.
0-ring: Assures positive sealing against contaminants and oil leakage.
Fasteners: All stainless steel.

Impeller: Thermoplastic Full-Vortex design with pump out vanes for mechanical seal protection.
Casing and Base: Rugged thermoplastic design provides superior strength and corrosion resistance.
Motor Housing: Cast iron for efficient heat transfer, strength, and durability.
Motor Cover: Thermoplastic cover with integral handle and float switch attachment points.
Power Cable: Sever duty rated oil and water resistant.
0-ring: Provides positive sealing. Easily replaced during maintenance.
Stainless steel fasteners.

Goulds Model 3888D3

Impeller: Cast iron, two vane semi open, non-clog with pump out vanes for mechanical seal protection. Balanced for smooth operation. Silicon bronze impeller available as an option.
Casing: Heavy duty cast iron, volute type for maximum efficiency. 3in. flange conforms to 125 PSI ANSI standard. Adaptable for A10-30 slide rail systems.
Dual Mechanical Seal: Ceramic vs. carbon sealing faces, stainless steel metal parts, BUNA-N elastomers. Upper and lower shaft seals are positioned independently and are separated by an oil-filled chamber. Optional SILICON CARBIDE OR TUNGSTEN CARBIDE faced lower seals available.
Shaft: 300 series stainless steel keyed design.
Motor: Fully submerged in oil-filled chamber. High grade turbine oil surrounds motor for more efficient heat dissipation, permanent lubrication of bearings and mechanical seal for complete protection against outside environment.

Goulds Model LDL

Impeller: AISI type 304 stainless steel construction; single vane non-clog design for maximum pumping efficiency.
Casing: Heavy wall, cast iron non-clog volute design with polybutadienic coating baked on at 180oC.
Wear Ring: Suction wear ring for maximum efficiency over pumping life and wear protection, constructed of Nitrile rubber.
Mechanical Seal: Carbon/ceramic faces; all metal components of AISI type 300 stainless steel running in protected oil chamber.
Pump Support Feel: Motor Shell and Lifting Handle: Constructed of AISI type 300 series stainless steel.
Shaft: AISI type 303 stainless steel high strength pump shaft with keyed and locking cap screw impeller fastening.
Discharge Nozzle: 2in. NPT for vertical-up connection to rigid, flexible or slide rail piping connection.
