Pressure Relief Valves

Spring Loaded Valve

Wastewater Depot Spring-Loaded Pressure Relief Valves are constructed of zinc-plated mild steel and are designed to protect blowers from overpressure in a blocked-off mode during vacuum or pressure operation. Each valve can be set by the customer to the desired vacuum or pressure level. Commonly used with Regenerative Blowers, Positive Displacement Blowers, and Rotary Vane Pumps.

The WWD pressure relief valve is available in five sizes, 1.25” diameter pipe size to 4” diameter pipe size. Our valves are pre-set for the pressure of 5.0 psi on most applications, but can be set to between 1 to 10 psi to meet your specific project conditions. Adjustments can be made easily to increase the pressure in the field if desired.

Weighted Relief  Valve

A weight loaded pressure relief valve offers a rugged, trouble-free design. WWD Model WWD-PRVW is constructed with a high quality anodized and heat treated aluminum body that will not rust.

Connection size (A): 2″ - 4” MPT
Material of Construction: Anodized Aluminum
Maximum Allowable Set Pressure: 29 psig
Minimum Allowable Set Pressure: 1 psig

A weighted cap rides on a machined seat, when the pressure exerted on the cap is greater than the weight of the cap plus any weights on the cap. The cap raises to let air escape. The relief valve does not fully relieve until the weight of the cap and the accumulation factor of the valve is exceeded. The accumulation factor is the percent of set point pressure required to initially move the cap. The
accumulation factor on these blower relief valves is approximately 25%. The set pressure can be modified by removing or adding weights. Weights are available for both 1 psi and 0.5 psi increments.

Expansion Joint

Molded spherical type rubber expansion joints are most commonly found in tough demanding applications as found in: Food Processing Systems, Industrial Process Piping Systems, HVAC Hot Water & Chiller Lines and Water/Waste-Water Piping Systems. Our Series 240/242 products are manufactured and inventoried in single (240) and double (242) spherical arch configurations and come in a variety of elastomers such as butyl, EPDM, Hypalon®, FDA-Nitrile, Neoprene, Nitrile and Teflon® lined to meet chemical, heat or abrasive conditions.

Mini Ball Valve

Mini Ball Valves are ideal for use in small, confined spaces, where larger valves are of no use. Other sizes and materials available upon request.

Economy Pressure Switch

Economy pressure switch equips with a spring-supported piston, the changing pressure pushes piston traveling, which will trigger the mechanic devices to send out switching signal as calibrated pressure is reached.
